Daisy’s Packing Sand is a fine-grained, moisture-retentive sand designed for use in civil, infrastructure and landscaping applications where compaction and stability are essential. Its consistent particle size and minimal organic or clay contamination allow for uniform compaction, making it suitable for slab bedding, trench backfill, and sub-base preparation beneath pavers or concrete. The sand typically displays a natural moisture content that aids in achieving optimal compaction during placement. Supplied clean and free of oversized particles, Daisy’s Packing Sand supports structural integrity and can be produced to align with relevant specifications for engineered fill. Test reports for compaction, moisture content and particle grading are available on request.
