Daisy's Grey Brick Sand is a light grey coloured sand, ideal for brickwork where a lighter coloured mortar is desired. Its primary use is mortaring brickwork, with a standard mortar blend of 6 parts sand to 1 part cement and 1 part hydrated lime.

As a guide, 1 cubic metre of Grey Brick Sand is enough to lay approximately 1,000 bricks and will require 8 to 10 bags of cement. Beyond bricklaying, this sand is also commonly used as a base layer under pool liners for above ground pools, thanks to its smooth, consistent texture.
