TM8 trench mesh is a prefabricated reinforcing strip used to reinforce strip footings and concrete beams. Made to AS/NZS 4671 from 500 MPa steel, it consists of longitudinal main bars welded to lighter cross bars, ready to drop straight into a footing trench.
The TM8 designation indicates 8mm main bars, the lighter gauge in the trench mesh range, and this 4 bar version has four longitudinal bars, making it suited to wider footings while keeping to a lighter duty bar size. Prefabricated trench mesh saves tying individual bars on site and gives consistent reinforcement.
