SL72 reinforcing mesh is a square, welded steel reinforcing fabric supplied in a 5.8m x 2.4m sheet. Manufactured to AS/NZS 4671 from 500 MPa steel, it reinforces concrete slabs, driveways, and footings, controlling cracking and distributing load through the pour.
The bars are welded in a square 200mm x 200mm grid for even reinforcement in both directions. SL72 is a mid range mesh in the SL series, offering more reinforcement than SL62 and suiting slabs and driveways that carry heavier loads.
Also known as F72 mesh, it lays flat and sits neatly on bar chairs to achieve the correct concrete cover. A reliable, standards compliant choice for residential and light commercial concreting.
