This dark, coarse-textured wood mulch is produced by mulching and grinding hard greens such as tree trunks, branches, limbs, and stumps which makes it ideal for enhancing garden beds, whether you're refreshing an existing bed, starting a new one, or patching thin spots.

Despite its name, Eucey Mulch isn't necessarily made from eucalyptus trees. Its coarse, fibrous texture knits together as ground cover, helping to suppress weed growth, retain soil moisture, and give garden beds a natural, forest-floor appearance that suits native and organic-style gardens alike.

The bag is easy to transport and handle, making it ideal for smaller garden beds, top-ups, and quick jobs where a full bulk load isn't needed. To keep your garden looking fresh and to ensure that all Eucey mulch benefits are received, topping up and re-mulching is recommended every 1-2 years. 

There are approximately 25 bags in a cubic meter.

  1. Prepare the area: Clear existing weeds and debris. Lay a weed mat first for maximum suppression.
  2. Apply at the right depth: Spread to 50–100 mm. Too thin and weeds can break through; too thick restricts water penetration.
  3. Keep clear of plant stems: Leave a 50 mm gap between mulch and plant stems or tree trunks to prevent moisture buildup.
  4. Water it in. Give the area a good drink after mulching to settle the layer and start pushing moisture down to the roots.
  • Natural Ageing: As an undyed product, Eucey Mulch will weather naturally outdoors over time rather than fading from a dye.
  • Product Variation: Being naturally sourced and recycled, some variation in colour, texture, and particle size is normal from batch to batch.
  • Topping Up: A light rake or top-up as the coarser pieces settle keeps beds looking full. To keep your garden looking fresh, top up every 1-2 years.
  • In-Store Viewing: Visiting your local store in person gives the truest impression of current stock, especially given the natural variation in this range.
  • Wear gloves when handling the mulch.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and prevent inhalation of dust and vapours.
  • Store away from open flames.
  • Keep dry before and after installation.
