TM12 trench mesh is a prefabricated reinforcing strip used to reinforce strip footings and concrete beams. Made to AS/NZS 4671 from 500 MPa steel, it consists of longitudinal main bars welded to lighter cross bars, ready to drop straight into a footing trench.
The TM12 designation indicates 12mm main bars, the heavier gauge in the trench mesh range, and this 3 bar version has three longitudinal bars suited to narrower footings that still need stronger reinforcement. Prefabricated trench mesh saves tying individual bars on site and gives consistent, evenly spaced reinforcement.
