Daisy's 20mm Crushed Rock Class 3 in a convenient 20kg bag is a compactable material used to build a stable base under paving and concrete slabs. Its main function is to build height and create a firm, compacted foundation that holds its shape once laid.
Crushed rock compacts hard, making it ideal beneath pavers, slabs and other hard surfaces where a solid, level base is needed. For best results it should be laid to a minimum depth of 50mm, moistened with water and compacted with a roller or vibrating plate compactor.
