Tuscan Screenings can be used as a decorative mulch in garden beds or in the top of plant pots as a decorative feature, adding natural sandstone tones wherever it's used. It can also be used on paths and drives, though it's worth noting this product does not compact, so it remains a loose, decorative surface rather than a firm, load-bearing one.

  2. Spread the material: Lay Tuscan Toppings evenly across the prepared area to a minimum depth of 50mm.
  3. Moisten: Water the surface thoroughly to help bind the particles together ahead of compaction.
  4. Compact: Use a roller or vibrating plate compactor to compact the material firmly, working in even passes across the entire surface.
  5. Check and finish: Inspect the surface for evenness and firmness, adding and compacting additional material in any low spots as needed.
